What you are downloading is the installation program called oracledemo.exe. Save it on your hard disk and run it to install all files needed.

IMPORTANT!  Baseball Oracle checks our web site for updates. Firewalls may prevent Oracle from doing so and it may appear that Oracle is hung up. This is particular true with Norton Software´s firewall and it gives no warning. If Baseball Oracle seems to be frozen when launched, follow your firewall´s procedure to allow Baseball Oracle to access the Internet so you can get updates. Baseball Oracle does not transmit information to our server. It simply checks and uploads any updates.

The evaluation copy of Baseball Oracle is the full version of the software. The data is from 1871 to 2006 just as the full version is.

The major restriction is that only partial results will be displayed. There are also a few functions that are disabled as well as some statistics which you cannot access. The stats also cannot be updated. Other than those restrictions, this evaluation copy works just as the full one does and in the same manner.

Note that Baseball Oracle is a Windows-based program. A few MacIntosh users have reported it works well on their Mac. We would appreciate hearing back from the Mac community of their experience with our software.

Since Baseball Oracle checks this web site for updates when used, firewalls and anti-virus software may block these attempts and make it appear as if Baseball Oracle is frozen. If you experience this, configure your firewall and/or anti-virus to allow Baseball Oracle access to the Internet.

Should you decide to buy, you can purchase the electronic key that will unlock all of the restrictions. You won´t have to download the full version.
