Baseball Oracle Files

On this page, youŽll find freely available downloads to use with Baseball Oracle. Depending on when you made your CD-ROM purchase, some of these may be on your CD-ROM in a folder called Extras. Check there first to see if you already have the file you want and save you the download.

Note that some files are compressed using WinZip which youŽll need to un-compress them.

oracledemo.exe

Baseball Oracle evaluation copy. Contains all the same statistics of the full version. Some functions are removed and only partial results are displayed. 17.3 megabytes

games.zip

The Games Summary database add-on contains all major league games since 1871 and each teamŽs totals for most of those games such as runs, hits, home runs, etc. Also runs scored in each inning by team. A work in progress, updates will be made available as we get more data, including the 2006 season.

You must purchase Baseball Oracle to use this add-on; it will not install otherwise. Available on the CD-ROM in the Extras folder.

This file is 15.2 megabytes. Unzip in the Baseball Oracle folder and run the games.exe setup program. Note that at least 200 megabytes of disk space is required.

This add-on used to sell separately for $20.

psgames.zip

Post-season Games. The stats of every player  in every game of the post-season (2006 data available during off-season). Also the linescore for each team, umpires, attendance and length of game.

You must purchase Baseball Oracle to use this add-on; it will not install otherwise. Available on the CD-ROM in the Extras folder.

File is 525 kilobytes in size. Unzip in the Baseball Oracle folder and run psgames.exe to install this add-on.

transacts.zip

Coming soon.

Every transaction in the major leagues including minor leaguers and dollar amount if any. Draft picks will also be included in updates as data becomes available.
