I find it admirable for someone to learn something new or do things by themself. My father told me to learn to do things myself such as fixing a leaky faucet. This way, I won't have to depend on others and keep more of my money. Sound advice. Dad was a pretty smart cookie.

But there is a big difference between fixing a leaky faucet and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Your business is your livelihood. Errors can be expensive and in some cases disastrous. Time and resources are precious commodities not to be wasted, especially if you are a small business.

Pay-per-click marketing is a Godsend for businesses of all kinds. There has never been a better way to target prospects at the very moment they are looking for you. Simply create an account, create an ad, have some keywords and you have those ads delivered immediately to potentially millions. What could be simpler, right?

You are here because you now realize that advertising is not that simple. Managing an AdWords campaign by yourself when you don´t know much about it can be quite frustrating and expensive. You need help. I admire you to try to fix the leaky faucet but you need a plumber because that @!$% faucet just won´t stop dripping and you are knee-deep in water.

Don´t feel bad. I´ve helped all sorts of businesses in the last three years who thought they could do it too. When I looked at their campaigns, they obviously had no clue as to how the whole thing worked. Some think the whole thing is some sort of a scam and stop advertising online. Good news for their competitors who figured it out. At least you are smart enough to know you need professional help.

Hi, my name is Pierre.

I´m can tell you that search engine marketing on AdWords and other PPC engine does work. You just have to know a few tricks and how to play the game. Mind you, the game changes from time to time. I know it can all be very frustrating not to mention time-consuming.

You see, I was in your shoes just a few years ago.

I first started using AdWords in 2002. Did it work for me? Well, not at first. When I think back at what I did that first day, I´m embarrassed. But I persevered and learned as much as I could as quickly as I could. I went through the learning curve and all the changes in the system. It took me almost one year before I really started to "get it". When I did, my advertising costs went down, I found more buyers and my sales tripled. I´m still learning.

I could have used someone in the early days to help me with my AdWords campaign. The thing is, AdWords and PPC was so new, there was no experts around to help. Today, there are hundreds and you may have already visited some of their sites before mine. In fact, chances are you got here because you used Google, typed some keywords, saw and clicked on my ad and probably a few others as well.

After a few years of reading about, experimenting and improving my PPC skills, I became very good at it and realized there are a lot of businesses out there - big and small - who could use someone with my skills. I started to offer my expertise to other businesses.

So why should you hire me as your AdWords campaign manager and not those other guys?

Try this. You probably found me by typing "adwords campaign manager" or some variation. Try "bad adwords campaign manager" and see what comes up. You won´t see my ad again but you might see theirs. I guess they are bad AdWords managers and advertising that fact. It´s that sort of thinking that gives me better positioning at lower cost than the "bad" AdWords managers.

I've researched other AdWords campaign management services and tried a few myself. Most of them set up an account for you by creating an ad and use a few keywords without apparently thinking much about it. Then they sit back and collect your money each month. The bigger ones may have software to monitor your campaign which simply adjusts your bids according to your preferred position and budget. Everything is automatic and no human hardly bothers with your campaign once it is set up.

I have learned the hard way that is not the way to do things. You cannot set up an AdWords or any other pay-per-click campaign and let it run on automatic. Doing so is being passive and does nothing to help the bottom line.

I know from experience that research into your business is crucial to find hidden keywords. They should be reviewed and new ones added and non-performing ones removed. I also know that the ad is very important and that you must constantly test new ones to optimize your investment. Software cannot create ads for you.

Search engine marketing is not something you set and forget about. Here´s how I help grow your business with PPC:

  • research your business and your competitors,
  • research the keywords people use to find you,
  • think up of as many ads as possible for each of your products or services,
  • set up your AdWords campaign in a logical manner,
  • monitor and make changes as needed. That means reviewing keywords, ads as well as costs and budget,
  • I go back to the first step and do it again.

There is NO automation here. I actively manage your AdWords and other pay-per-click campaigns. Sure I use software tools to help. A human being cannot make sense of all the data involved without some help. But I don´t let this software - which I developed myself by the way - make the decisions. It is a statistical tool only, not a human replacement. It cannot, and I would not, let it manage your account by itself unilaterally and unsupervised.

You can call me any time and discuss your campaign. I also e-mail you a monthly report.

I have been in business for over ten years and I understand your concerns. I want you to succeed and I treat your business like it was my own. I feel bad when I see poor results and feel joy at great results as if I made that money myself.

I've helped many businesses in the last few years. They have included a tools store, a few ebooks, software, a children's clothes store, a car parts store, an online tax service and some affiliate marketers and a pet store, to name a few.

Think about it. You have found this page because I advertise on Google. You clicked my ad to get here. Doesn't that tell you that my ad was effective?  I made you click on my ad. I can do the same for your business.

How do we start?

Call me toll-free (North America) at 1-888-683-1144 to talk about your needs or e-mail pierre@lucidsoftware.com from anywhere in the world. I´ll need to know the URLs you want to promote. Tell me if you already have pay-per-click campaigns and which search engines.

I will then tell you my monthly fee. Basically, I charge based on the number of products you want to advertise and the number of search engines such as Google AdWords, Yahoo or MSN. I manage campaigns for others for as little as $29 per month. I recommend a minimum of three months of management but the longer I manage, the better results you will see.

If you prefer, I can do the keyword research and create ads. You copy them into your AdWords account and manage it yourself.

Over time, I will use the data from a campaign and devise a SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy. This will help you get higher in search engine rankings.

I also advise clients on their landing pages. Many hire me to rewrite their copy in efforts to improve the conversion rate.

One thing I do ask is not to expect immediate miracles. It rarely happens that way. I need time to learn your business, do the research and gather information from your campaign to improve it over time. That takes weeks, not days. You need to be patient.

If you are ready and willing to work with me on your AdWords or other pay-per-click campaigns, give me a call. I´ll do all I can to create the best campaign possible so that you can catch more (and juicier) flies in your web.
